TECHNICAL REVIEW

A clear plan
for your prototype.

Your prototype works, but you need to know whether the code can support a real product. Get an independent review of the architecture, dependencies, security and tests, with priorities for what to change.

Purpose of the review

Code, behavior
and risks

Bring your code, including anything generated with AI, and show how the product should work. The review traces the main workflows and data flows, checks architectural choices and identifies failure points, security gaps and likely scaling limits.

The review does not include implementation. Your team can use the findings directly, or request a separate development project.

Deliverables

  • Written findingsFindings from the code review and test results, with examples of the problems found.
  • Issues in priority orderWhich problems to fix first and why.
  • A test planTest cases, expected results and checks to run after changes. Implementing the tests is separate work.
  • Recommended fixesWhat to keep, refactor or replace, with dependencies and effort estimates.
  • A review meetingDiscuss the findings and answer questions with your technical team.

What the review requires

Before starting

Access to the code, a demonstration of the prototype and a conversation about your users and plans. You do not need an existing engineering team. The review can take place within your environment.

Frequently asked questions

What types of work are available?

Taking prototypes into production, improving code and architecture, and providing ongoing technical leadership. The work covers both the software and the decisions about what to build next.

What do I have at the end of the review?

Written findings, issues ranked by importance, a test plan and estimates for the recommended changes. We discuss the findings together. Your team can make the changes, or bring me in to implement them.

Can you take over code generated with AI?

Yes. Bring the code you have. The first step is to understand how it works, keep what is useful and identify what needs fixing or replacing. You do not need to start again by default.

Who will we work with?

You work directly with me on the code, tests and technical decisions.

Can our code and data stay in our environment?

Yes. Work can stay in your code repositories, infrastructure and accounts. We agree where data is stored, which providers are used and who has access before development.

Which systems may an agent access?

An agent can use only the data and tools approved for its task. Application code checks permissions and inputs. Actions such as sending information or changing records can require human approval. Instructions to the model do not replace these checks.

What happens when the AI gets it wrong?

The application can show sources, decline a request or ask a person to review an action. These behaviors are tested, and new failures become test cases.

Can you work with us before we have a prototype?

Yes. We can test your idea with a prototype. A Technical Review is useful when there is already code to inspect.
